Role Overview

Most of our growth over the last few years has come from architecture, engineering and construction. Our visualisation and media and entertainment product line is now a board-level priority, and we're hiring someone to own its strategy and turn it into a business.

You'll decide how the product line is priced, packaged and positioned, set the roadmap that product management delivers against, and make the case for it to customers and to the board. You'll report to the CPO and work closely with our product management team.

We want someone who moves quickly. Within your first quarter you'll put a pricing and positioning proposal in front of the board, and you'll present progress to them every quarter after that.

You'll start as an individual contributor. As the strategy lands, you'll have the scope to build a team around it.

Key Responsibilities

Set the strategic vision for visualisation and M&E and turn it into a roadmap product management can execute

Own pricing, packaging and positioning, and build the value propositions and pitch materials behind them

Make prioritisation calls across the existing products, working through trade-offs with product and engineering

Give the existing team a clear direction and bring them with you

Present strategy and results to the board each quarter

Required Skills and Experience

A senior product, strategy or commercial role in a software business, where you owned the outcome for a product line or major revenue stream

Strategy consulting background (McKinsey, BCG or similar) with a proven move into a software or product business

A track record of commercial decisions you led and saw through to results: a pricing and packaging overhaul, a go-to-market launch into a new segment, or a repositioning against competitors. You should be able to tell us what changed in the numbers

Experience presenting strategy to a board, investors or executive committee, and defending it under challenge

Experience leading change across teams you didn't directly manage, getting product, engineering, sales and marketing behind a new direction

Enough technical depth to challenge engineering estimates and judge what's feasible, ideally with experience in B2B or creative software

It would help if you have:

Experience in M&E, visualisation, gaming, AI or media-adjacent software (no AEC background needed)

Experience building and managing a team

Experience with subscription or usage-based pricing models
