Position Overview

We are seeking a Global Mobility Specialist to support Autodesk's Global Mobility & Immigration team through a 12-month contract assignment, with a primary focus on relocations into and within the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC) regions.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for employees and internal stakeholders, coordinating end-to-end international and domestic relocation activities and supporting Autodesk's Temporary Remote Work Program. You will work alongside a small but mighty team that plays an important role in delivering a consistent, compliant, and employee-focused mobility experience while partnering with stakeholders across the business.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on global mobility and relocation coordination experience, strong organizational and case management skills, and the ability to navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This assignment requires a combination of mobility program administration, employee support, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to facilitate seamless employee transitions and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Support Autodesk's Global Mobility program, with a primary focus on managing end-to-end international and domestic relocations into and within the EMEA and APAC regions, ensuring a consistent, compliant, and employee-focused experience

Coordinate all phases of the relocation lifecycle for new hires and internal transfers, including relocation initiation, benefits administration, vendor engagement, employee support, and case closure

Review and process manager-submitted relocation requests, assessing eligibility, applicable policy provisions, and recommended relocation benefits in alignment with Autodesk's global mobility policies

Serve as a primary point of contact for relocating employees, providing clear guidance on relocation benefits, policy coverage, timelines, required documentation, and next steps throughout the relocation process

Partner closely with external relocation vendors to coordinate service delivery, monitor case progression, resolve service-related issues, and ensure alignment with established service expectations

Collaborate with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, People Consultants, Payroll, and other internal stakeholders to facilitate timely relocation initiation, accurate employee data, and coordinated support throughout the relocation process

Support the administration of Autodesk's Temporary Remote Work Program, including reviewing employee requests, coordinating cross-functional assessments and approvals, tracking approved arrangements, and communicating program requirements and outcomes to employees and stakeholders

Maintain accurate and comprehensive relocation and temporary remote work records, ensuring case statuses, key milestones, applicable dates, approvals, and required next steps are consistently documented and updated in internal systems

Proactively identify and escalate mobility-related risks, including relocation delays, policy exceptions, potential immigration or tax compliance concerns, and vendor service delivery challenges, partnering with appropriate stakeholders to support timely resolution

Coordinate with Global Immigration, Tax, Payroll, and other relevant teams on mobility cases involving immigration, tax, social security, or employment-related considerations to support compliance and appropriate employee guidance

Prepare and deliver clear, timely employee communications regarding relocation benefits, program requirements, required actions, and key milestones

Support ongoing improvements to global mobility processes, employee resources, documentation, and operating procedures to enhance program efficiency, consistency, and employee experience

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in global mobility, corporate relocation, international assignment administration, or a related field, preferably within a multinational organization or global mobility service provider

Demonstrated experience coordinating international relocation cases, including new-hire relocations and employee transfers, with an understanding of relocation benefits, policies, and service delivery processes

Familiarity with global mobility practices and regional considerations across EMEA and APAC, including the ability to navigate varying country requirements, employee needs, and business expectations

Experience working with external relocation vendors or global mobility service providers, including coordinating services, monitoring case progression, and resolving operational issues

Strong case management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple active cases, maintain accurate records, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely updates to internal systems

Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and time-sensitive requests while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail

Understanding of the cross-functional considerations associated with employee mobility, including immigration, payroll, tax, and employment-related compliance requirement

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly explain mobility policies, processes, and requirements to employees and stakeholders across different countries and cultures

Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills, with the ability to exercise sound judgment, identify potential issues, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external service providers
