About DX

DX is headquartered in Salt Lake City, Utah and is one of the fastest-growing SaaS companies globally. We help engineering leaders build high-performing, productive teams. DX collects millions of data points daily, powering insights into developer productivity and experience at companies like Pinterest, GitHub, BNY, Xero, and many more. Our business has scaled profitably and grown rapidly—tripling annual recurring revenue in the last several years.

DX recently closed on its acquisition by Atlassian. By joining Atlassian, we will expand our resources, accelerate growth and R&D, and ultimately deliver greater impact to our customers.

What we value at DX

Companies have all kinds of culture slides. At DX, we want to be very clear about what we care about and how we judge performance. For us, it all boils down to individual mastery, becoming the best at your craft. Those who exhibit this quality will thrive here and be unduly rewarded. We can’t control outcomes due to competitors, the economy, decision-makers, etc., but what we can control is doing our jobs at the highest level possible.

About the role

DX is already in APAC. This role is about expanding our reach and presence in the region.

We're looking for an APAC Marketing Lead to own DX's presence in the region. This role needs to be the connective tissue between our APAC market and the rest of DX marketing: translating what's landing and what we need to do differently to win in the region. That means knowing the target accounts, partnering closely with AEs, and building the right mix of plays to reach the right people. This is a founding-marketer role: someone with experience who can figure out what needs to happen, then make it happen.

What you’ll own

Accounts & field partnership

Maintain a working view of target accounts in the region — who's in them, what campaigns have reached them, and where they sit in the pipeline

Partner with AEs to build account engagement plans: identify the right contacts, match programs to buying stage, and ensure every priority account is getting reached with something relevant

Execute the plays that bring those plans to life — executive roundtables, CxO dinners, partner-led motions, direct mail, personalized digital campaigns, 1:1 ABM touches, or whatever else the account needs

Messaging & market intelligence

Be the voice of APAC inside the marketing org — bring back what you're hearing from customers, AEs, and partners so global programs reflect what's actually happening in the region

Review existing ads, emails, and campaign assets alongside demand gen and push for changes that make them work in-region: language, cultural context, proof points, positioning

Identify gaps in case studies, product marketing, and website content that limit regional resonance — and make sure the right teams know about them

Events & executive programs

Work with the events team to ensure DX has the right presence at the right events in APAC — and support that presence directly, whether that means running a booth, hosting a side event, or shaping on-site activations

Run use-case-led executive programs — roundtables, CxO dinners, invitation-only events — that bring the AI transformation story to senior decision makers in the region

Partner with Events and Events Content Managers to recruit executives at target accounts as attendees or speakers

Design regional ancillary programming around global moments (TEAM, Team on Tour) that turns brand presence into territory-specific pipeline opportunities

Webinars & content

Host regional webinars in your timezone featuring the APAC Field CTO, North America Field CTO, researchers, or other subject matter experts — content calibrated to the APAC audience and business context

Partner with demand gen to promote those programs locally and drive the right attendees

Growth & experimentation

Identify and test new channels, communities, partners, or plays that could expand DX's reach in APAC

Build the case for scaling what works — and cut what doesn't

What success looks like in the first 6 months

Month 1–2: Get oriented & start building

You have a working view of the top target accounts in APAC — who's in them, what's reached them, and where they sit in the pipeline

You've met and built a working relationship with the AEs, demand gen, events, and Field CTO you'll be collaborating with most

You have a clear point of view on where the biggest gaps are: accounts we're not reaching, messaging that isn't landing, events we should be at but aren't

At least one executive program (roundtable, CxO dinner, or similar) is planned and in motion

Account engagement plans exist for the highest-priority accounts — with specific plays tied to each

You've reviewed existing campaign assets with demand gen and pushed through at least some regional adaptations

You've identified 2–3 gaps in case studies, positioning, or content and escalated them to the right teams

Month 3–5: Show early traction

You've hosted or co-hosted at least one regional webinar with measurable attendance from target accounts

Target accounts are being reached with a higher-touch, more relevant mix of programs than before you joined

You're actively feeding market intelligence back into PMM and demand gen, and it's changing decisions

You have a view on what's working, what isn't, and what you'd prioritize in the next six months

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. We follow consistent hiring practices and account for each candidate's skills, knowledge, and experience when setting base pay within the range.

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Who you are

You've run field or regional marketing in a B2B SaaS or developer tools company with limited support, which means you know how to prioritize ruthlessly

You think in accounts and people, not audiences—give you a named account list and you'll build a real plan around it

You've run executive programs/events before—e.g., the positioning, agenda design, and follow-through that make them land

You're as comfortable writing a webinar brief as you are reviewing a campaign sequence or working a booth; you don't wait for someone else to do the work

You have strong instincts about what messaging works in different markets and the confidence to push back when something won't resonate in your region

You collaborate well with demand gen, events, product marketing, and sales. You know how to make those relationships productive without needing to own everything

You're motivated by building something that isn't fully built yet. This role has room to define itself, and that appeals to you
