Junior Data Engineer

In your role as a Data Engineer Junior, you will support the development of data solutions that enable reliable data processing and analytics. Working closely with technical and business teams, you will contribute to data-driven decision-making and AI initiatives across the organization.

Your Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines.

Assist in managing and optimizing databases and data solutions.

Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders.

Monitor and improve data quality and data availability.

Support troubleshooting and resolution of data-related issues.

Contribute to the implementation of data governance and security standards.

Assist in preparing and integrating data for analytics and AI applications.

Participate in continuous improvement, digitalization, and AI initiatives.

Your Profile

Higher Technical College (HTL) with IT focus, Bachelor's degree, or comparable qualification in a relevant field.

First practical experience through internships, projects, or apprenticeships.

Basic programming skills, ideally in Python, Java, or C#.

Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.

Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL/ELT processes.

Strong interest in data analytics, AI, and emerging technologies.

Analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving.

Good English skills; German language skills are an advantage.
