Introduction to the job

As Head of Digital Experience Management, you shape how more than 40,000 ASML employees, and our growing ecosystem of suppliers, customers, and AI agents, interact with technology every day. You make digital experiences feel intuitive, reliable, and empowering, ensuring seamless collaboration across boundaries, so everyone and everything can focus on what truly matters: pushing the boundaries of semiconductor innovation.

In this role, you lead the global transformation of end-user IT services into a modern, automation-first and AI-driven experience. By replacing traditional helpdesk and services functions with self-service and intelligent automation, you improve productivity, streamline operations, and enable faster global deployment of changes and data-driven decision-making across ASML.

Role and responsibilities

As Head of digital employee experience, you own the end-to-end delivery of global end-user IT services architecture and delivery, and lead the shift to a future-ready service model. You connect strategy, architecture, delivery, and operations to create one integrated experience for employees.

You will:

Lead global end-user IT services, covering devices, software, support, and license management

Consolidate ownership of all end-user services into one unified, accountable organization, globally and considering our existing shared services model for IT

Drive the transition to AI-driven, automation-first and self-service solutions that simplify the employee experience

Increase transparency on IT usage and costs, enabling informed business choices and optimized license management

Ensure security and compliance standards across the complete end-user landscape

Align closely with multiple teams to ensure seamless delivery

Education and experience

You are a senior IT leader with a strong background in large-scale end-user environments and digital service transformation.

You bring:

A master’s degree in information technology, computer science, business information management, or a related field

12–15 years of experience leading global end-user IT services at scale

Proven experience replacing traditional support models with automation, AI, and self-service solutions

A strong track record in cost optimization, license management, and budget ownership (€100M+ range)

Experience leading large, diverse organizations (100+ professionals) and managing strategic suppliers

Solid knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in enterprise IT environments

Skills

To be successful as Head of digital employee experience, you demonstrate:

The ability to translate complex technology into simple, user-friendly solutions

Data-driven decision-making and clear communication with senior stakeholders

Experience working in complex, global organizations with multiple IT stakeholders

A collaborative and global mindset, enabling alignment across IT, cybersecurity, and business teams

A continuous improvement mentality, focused on automation, efficiency, and user satisfaction

About ASML

ASML is Europe's largest tech company by valuation and the sole maker of the extreme-ultraviolet lithography systems that print the smallest transistors in the world — without it, nothing below a certain chip size gets made anywhere. Almost all its European roles sit in the Netherlands, split between the software that runs the machines and the manufacturing that builds them.
