About the Role
As a System Build Quality Inspector, you are responsible for deciding whether products, modules and systems meet the required quality standards before they can move to the next step in the manufacturing process.
You act as an independent quality representative on the shopfloor and perform inspections throughout the build process. You identify deviations, assess quality risks, verify repair and rework activities, and ensure that product release decisions are based on facts, specifications and standards rather than production pressure.
Working closely with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality stakeholders, you help prevent quality issues from reaching downstream operations or the (end) customer. When required, you challenge decisions, escalate concerns and stop product flow to safeguard quality, safety and compliance.

Inspect products, modules and systems during and after assembly.
Determine whether products meet quality and release criteria.
Identify, document and communicate defects, deviations and quality risks.
Verify repairs and rework before products are released.

Ensure compliance with quality, safety and operational standards.
Skills
MBO-level technical education or equivalent practical experience.
Experience in manufacturing, assembly, testing, quality inspection or a similar technical environment.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and work instructions.
Experience making technical judgements based on procedures, standards and product requirements.
A structured and detail-oriented way of working.
Confidence to challenge, question and escalate when quality requirements are not met.
Experience in a high-tech manufacturing environment is considered an advantage.
