Introduction

The Quality Engineering & Excellence team within the Reuse & Repair sector supports a large engineering organization in Veldhoven. The team enables consistent quality, performance, and continuous improvement across reuse and repair activities. A KPI framework is currently being established, and the next step is to successfully implement and embed it across the organization. In this internship, you will help drive KPI adoption and support data-driven decision-making within a department of about 100 people. You will collaborate closely with engineering leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.

Your assignment

You will contribute to the successful implementation and adoption of a KPI framework across the Reuse & Repair organization. Rather than designing the framework itself, your focus will be on embedding it into daily operations, aligning stakeholders, and supporting teams in using KPI insights effectively. You will work across multiple engineering teams and help ensure KPIs are understood, accepted, and used to drive performance improvements.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Support the implementation and adoption of a KPI framework for quality and reuse or repair activities

Align with stakeholders on KPI definitions, objectives, and ways of working

Support KPI deployment across department, team, and process levels

Assess data sources and validate data quality, availability, and consistency

Analyze performance data and trends to support continuous improvement

Support KPI reporting and review processes

Facilitate stakeholder alignment and document KPI governance
