ARQUIMEA SPACE is hiring a Product Assurance Engineer for Space to be located in our Headquarters in Torrejon (Madrid).
Tasks to be performed:
Company PA/QA procedures definition, maintenance, and continuous improvement for ensuring the quality, reliability, and safety of products within the company.
Space thermo-structural and mechanisms PA expert, defining the PA flow-work to ensure that products meet or exceed quality space standards and customer expectations.
Identifying, assessing, and managing risks associated with product development and manufacturing processes.
Implementing measures to monitor and control the quality of space products during manufacturing and assembly processes. This includes developing quality control plans, performing inspections and tests, and addressing any non-conformities or defects that arise following space flow-work.
Quality control, maintaining accurate records of quality-related activities, including test results, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken. Providing regular reports to management on the status of product quality and any quality issues that need to be addressed
Leading efforts to continuously improve product quality, reliability, and efficiency. This may involve analyzing quality data, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing initiatives such as Lean Six Sigma or Total Quality Management.
Monitoring customer feedback and satisfaction levels
Providing training and guidance to the PA/QA team.
Preferred skills, experience and candidate profile:
University degree and/or PhD in Engineering, Chemistry or Physics.
More than 8 years as PA expert in aerospace related companies
More than 5 years working as PA/QA expert in aerospace thermos-structure or mechanical products.
Demonstrable experience in space product manufacturing
Experience defining and managing PA/QA procedures and policies
Knowledge of space policies and standards
Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes of quality issues or non-conformities, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
Experience leading teams
Proficient in English. Spanish is a plus.
Open minded and ready to be challenged in a fast paced and multi-disciplinary, multinational environment.
The position is located in our Headquarters of Torrejón de Ardoz (Madrid).
The candidate must be eligible to work in the EU and must be able to travel to the US.
