Key job responsibilities
- Design and develop software solutions that integrate seamlessly into our distributed system architecture
- Own the complete development lifecycle for assigned features, including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational support
- Collaborate across teams to understand requirements, share technical insights, and ensure solutions align with broader system goals
- Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge, providing constructive feedback, and supporting the development of other engineers
- Identify and drive technical and process improvements that enhance system reliability, performance, and team productivity
A day in the life
As a Software Development Engineer, you'll focus on designing and implementing software solutions within our distributed ecosystem. Your day might include architecting components that integrate with our larger system, writing and reviewing code with teammates, and troubleshooting production systems to ensure reliability. You'll participate in design discussions with colleagues, mentor other engineers on the team, and contribute to our technical strategy. Beyond coding, you'll help identify ways to improve our processes and tools, ensuring our team operates efficiently and delivers value to both internal and external customers.

- Experience (non-internship) in professional software development
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- Experience with full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
