Write & Maintain Go: Design, build, and ship high-performance Go backend services, internal developer tools, and APIs

Full Lifecycle Ownership ("You build it, you run it"): Write the code, manage Helm charts, deploy directly to Kubernetes, and handle infrastructure using Terraform & Terragrunt

On-Call Responsibility: Take operational ownership and participate in the on-call rotation for the services you own

PCI-DSS Compliance: Build and operate production environments under strict security standards, where merges and deployments require human-in-the-loop controls

5+ years of DIRECT, hands-on experience as a Go/Backend Engineer (Note: 5 total career years with only 2–3 years in Go/DevOps does NOT qualify)

Deep Architectural Expertise: Proven ability to build clean, maintainable microservices and make sound engineering tradeoffs

Production Kubernetes & Helm: Daily experience deploying, debugging, and managing containerized services on K8s

Infrastructure as Code: Proficiency in Terraform and Terragrunt

Relational & Key-Value Databases: Solid experience with PostgreSQL and Redis

AI Fluency (Level 3): Advanced proficiency applying AI (e.g., RAG workflows) to complex problem-solving

Location & Relocation: Based in or willing to relocate to Hamburg, Germany
