€100k+ engineering roles at top-tier European companies, an hour before the bots have seen them Be candidate #4 at top-tier European companies, not candidate #400 on a platform that syndicated it Senior engineers rarely lose out on skill at top-tier European companies. They lose out on timing

The reason any of this matters is timing, not volume.

Why the first hour

01 / the problem

The first hour is the whole game

A posting’s applicant count is not linear. It stays close to flat for the first hour, then climbs steeply as syndication spreads it across the large platforms and auto-apply tools pick it up.

Recruiters read that pile roughly top-down, and screening often closes before the bottom of it is reached. Being early is worth more than being better later.

  1. 01

Career pages are polled directly, never read from a feed.

  2. 02

A role that appears goes on the board on the same cycle.

  3. 03

Every link goes to the company’s own form, not a middleman.

First hour ~10 applicants
Hours 1–6 ~70
Day 1 ~300
Day 3 ~700
Week 1 900+, screening closed

DIRECTIONAL SHAPE, NOT A MEASUREMENT FROM THIS DATASET. WE RECORD WHEN A ROLE WAS FIRST SEEN, NOT WHEN A COMPANY PUBLISHED IT, AND NOT HOW MANY APPLIED.

02 / questions

Before you subscribe

Anything not answered here is worth asking before you pay.

Where do these roles come from?

Directly from each company’s own careers page or applicant tracking system: Greenhouse, Ashby, Lever, Workday, Personio, Teamtailor and others. Nothing comes from a job-board feed or an aggregator, so nothing here is a repost.

How often is the board re-read?

Every tracked board is polled on a cycle and compared against the previous run. A role that has left its board is closed here on the same pass, and its URL is checked separately before it is archived.

Do you show salaries?

No. Almost no European company publishes a number on the posting itself, and inferring a range from a job title would be guesswork presented as data.

Are recruiters or sponsored posts included?

No. Every row links to the company’s own application form. There is no paid placement and no agency listing. If a company is not tracked, it does not appear, however much anyone would like it to.

What does an alert actually do?

It watches a saved filter and mails you when a matching role appears, on the same cycle the board is polled. The value is the gap between a role going live on a company page and reaching the large platforms.
